The topics for these evenings are inspired by the spiritual practices of our congregation and have been varied. The common thread is always how we weave our spiritual path daily. Alternative programming is provided for the youth or young at heart. Childcare is also available.

Spirituality of Gardening
Thursday, August 18, 6:00 – 8:30 pm

He who cultivates a garden and brings to perfection flowers and fruits, cultivates and advances at the same time his own nature.”  ~Ezra Weston, 1845

Are you a person who finds much sanctuary in the practice of gardening? Or maybe just curious as to why others do? We would like to invite you to join us for a full evening of how gardening can be a spiritual practice!

  • 6:00 PM: Community Meal, Garden Crafts and Flower Tarot Card Readings in Baker Hall.
  • 6:30 PM: The 1993 movie, “Secret Garden,” will be shown in the Fireside Room for the young and young of heart.
  • 7:00 PM: “Spirituality of Gardening” service in the Sanctuary.

Feel free to attend whatever part of the program speaks to you. Childcare will be available upon request for children under five. Register either in person or on Realm @ onrealm.org by August 16.  Donations for dinner will be by free will offering.
